I’ve gone ahead and set up pages at Gumroad and Buy Me a Coffee, so now you can support my work beyond a regular subscription.
At Buy Me a Coffee, you can “buy me a coffee” or give a one-time contribution. If you’re unfamiliar with the site, it allows people to give small contributions to creators, in the same way that you might buy a local artist or writer a coffee or a beer if you lived in the same town.
At Gumroad, you can sign up to be a patron supporter, which also helps me produce work outside of Substack - including my free, weekly, LinkedIn newsletter. If you’re familiar with Patreon, Gumroad is an alternative to that platform.1
As always, the best way you can support my work is by subscribing here at Substack or buying a copy of my book. I’m grateful for your continued support and I appreciate all the feedback.
Finally, contributions are never required or expected, but always appreciated. Thank you.
Patreon has had issues with underage amateur “photographers” selling pictures, so I’m staying away from the platform for the time being. Perhaps that’s unfair. I realize many artists and writers and actual photographers use the platform and have a good experience. If I find out that Patreon succeeds in cracking down on the problem, I’ll consider setting up a page.
